Wow, I did not know that. I've always assumed it was written. I know people that the IRS took everything from for not filing federal forms. If this is true as it appears it is, the IRS would be liable to make repayments to everyone they screwed, how would that work??

I am an anti tax advocate myself, however. IT is written in the 16th Admendment that Congress has the right to collect taxes however it see fit. It may have been done scandalasly, but honestly how many laws arent? I am not anti-tax to the degree that there should not be taxes at all. I personally would rather pay federal taxes in amounts of $4200.00 which I did this year than, get a $20,000 Interstate Improvement bill. As long as there is a checks and balance system in place that tax $'s are being spent to better the people who pay them, I have no problems with properly spent taxes. So in summary Aaron Russo and company, need not to wage a war in which we cannot win, but see to it, that the proper laws are in place to spend our money on us. And the message in his interview about the Government should controll $100% of the federal reserve is assinine! The Bankers made out like crazy in 1913. Wrong, I agree it is, deffinetly. But do you honestly believe that someone that doesnt deserve it will get rich off of something they shouldn't? No economical system in its purest form would ever stop that. And word to the wise, this is a self motivated film. Not a documentary but a Docudrama. A documentary would be, it would give just facts on federal reserve. Think elementary for a minute. "School House Rock" is more of a documentary. Than films who are only giving facts to one message. " Taxes are evil, and those evil bankers are becoming rich from your money."

I do believe taxes are necessary but misappropriation of the money is the evil part. Our government needs money to build roads and other needs. The lawmakers will make new laws to collect taxes if we refuse to pay taxes according to the current laws.

Did you all watch the Film?? it is NOT anti-tax...it is ONLY Anti Federal Income Tax!! 100% of which goes to pay NOTHING but the Interest owed by the Government to the Privately owned Federal reserve!!! Most of the Money for trasportation infrustructure , education, etc.. comes from local taxes!

IF we NEED to pay income tax to run the contry how did we do it before 1913 ??? its a scam pure & simple..

Check how much money of your state taxes pay for your roads and the interstates in your state. Federal doesn't help.

NO private company in any country should be soul responsible for printing money. That should always be controlled by the people, not private industry.

I don't really have a desire to put in the effort to look up all that stuff. But so long as I continue to get a nice tax return back from the fed and we continue to be the most powerful country in the world while enjoying the freedoms I currently do I don't mind paying federal taxes.

What can we do about it anyway? I'm not the type to start a movement and say everyone stop paying federal income tax and get arrested. There are probably far worst corruptions in our government. I consider detaining innocent American labeled as terrorist far worst than this.

Tax refunds are the biggest joke. Basically, the government is giving you your money back that they used all year. Pretty much just a no interest loan from you.

Also, those that get back more than they paid in because of poverty levels are getting other peeps money.
