Guild Bank items are NOT to be AH'ed
I didn't think we needed to actually write this rule down, since as a guild we strive for the whole HONOR, VALOR, LOYALITY idea. But it seems that we do.
No item that you remove from the guild bank is to be placed on the AH. These items are not there for you to cash farm with. That is what quests and mobs are for.
There is a log on the guild bank tabs and we can see what is added and removed, by who and when. Anyone with access to the tab can see this. Also when you post and item on the AH, it shows the posters name...anyone can see this as well. Its not hard at all to track things like this and you will be caught. So far we have had 2 people do this.
This is NOT what being a SCARAB is about. If you do this, you will be caught, and you will be domoted to the rank of Dirt Beetle (which has no guild bank access) while the officers deceide what to do with you. It could go as far as removal from the guild. Stealing from a bank in your real life is against the law, why would stealing from your game's guild bank be any different? And stealing is what it is. Your guild mates donated those items to help people craft or have better gear. If they wanted it AH'd they could have done it themselves and made the gold for themselves. But they didn't they donated it to help others, including yourself. Taking those items and putting them on the AH is a slap in the face to your guildmates kindness and to the guild as a whole. And will not be taken lightly.
Questions, please feel free to see any of the officers or myself either in game or on the boards.
