Another road to travel - part 3
So I realize again I haven't been keeping up to date with my Blog:
I have a new theme song - see more below it. ![]()
Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain
And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet
When the wind comes right behind the rain.
Oklahoma, Ev'ry night my honey lamb and I
Sit alone and talk and watch a hawk
Makin' lazy circles in the sky.
We know we belong to the land
And the land we belong to is grand!
And when we say
Yeeow! Ayipioeeay!
We're only sayin'
You're doin' fine, Oklahoma!
Oklahoma O.K.

On Saturday June 21, I will be moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma - I will be leaving with the Rums and Feefee for a little while as I get my feet under me and learn the lay of the land. I have accepted the Senior Manager of Technical and Information Services for the BOK Center - it is a major promotion and will really help Celia and I (and Ruben and Isabell).
Celia, Ruben and Isabell though won't be moving out there until the end of September.
Skype will become my friend.
I have very mixed feelings on the move and the job - I have lived in the Atlanta region since 1992, I convinced my best friend from college to move here so we could be close. My closest friends are here and I won't have my family for about 3 months. So I may be a little crankier then you remember or a little more stressed - it won't be you it will be me. ![]()
