Plasma or LCD?????
I'm about to buy a TV for the basement and I'm not sure which way to go. I used to be comletely against plasmas but now I think the two types are as comparable as they ever have been. The main difference seems to be price right now with Plasma taking a slight lead for the screen size. I'm looking for experience (recent I guess) with either. I currently have a Smasung DLP (one with a color wheel) and have been fairly satisfied except that the blacks aren't all that great. The LCD I'm looking at is the Samsung LN46A750. The plasmas are the Samsung PN50A650 (TOC since the wall behind the TV is red
) and the Panasonic TH-PZ800U. We want to get a Wii and I wouldn't mind playing WoW on it once in a while. The basement only has one window in the room with the TV and the lights are on a dimmer. The room is also long and the TV will be viewed in the narrow dimension (11'). Let me know what you think. I need to get it orderd tomorrow so I can have it for poker
