whelp... looks like I'm

whelp... looks like I'm wrong on all counts. Not only were the Raven's de-feathered.... but it certainly looks like an extra weeks rest did the "Ole-Boy" some good.

Now I want Chargers to win, just so they can beat the Colts at home (again) and it can be a Saints/Chargers SB...

Gah, I really hope the Viking don't go all the way, Dolvin will be insufferable at SF this year... Eye-wink

Dolv doesn't much have much

Dolv doesn't much have much interest in college football because of games like this: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=283270135 55-0? At home? Laughing out loud We will magnanimously find some room for the Gophers in the remedial class to be presented to GT officials: "Football--What it is, how it works."

What kind of goons did

What kind of goons did Alabama bring out on the field? Needless to say, with Colt taken out in the first quarter, Alabama faced an offense headed up by a high school level quarterback who maybe had a few minutes of garbage time to play all season. That they were able to bring the score within 3 points of Alabama speaks volumes of the kind of heart Texas has in its program. Also, with a lot of work, Garrett could very well shape up into a strong QB next year.

All else aside, Alabama played a great game and deserves their victory. Just be ready, though. Texas ain't rolling over and will bring it back again next year.

Kerestral, level 80 Dranei Paladin
All right, he is a paladin, but he ain't prissy either

Because everyone else already has one...

The frosh QB did an

The frosh QB did an excellent job in the second half, especially once he started throwing to a receiver that could catch it and hold on. Alabama played a very control type game due in a large part to McCoy getting hurt (which really upset me) and the fact that McElroy was playing with two cracked ribs from the SEC Championship.

All in all, a good game that got a lot closer than I wanted there at the end. Texas got all the respect they earned all season and deserved from me.
