Blackrabbit/Nyalla's Grandfather

Heya folks,

Just wanted to get everyone up to speed. Rabbit's 93 year old grandfather was admitted to the hospital up in New York, suffering from an aortic dissection. He is extremely lucky, since most patients die of this before they even make it to the hospital. He is very much a fighter and he is still hanging in there. Keep him, Rabbit and the rest of our family in your thoughts and prayers, please.

Rabbit flew out this morning and is with her family in New York. I am still here in Texas holding down the fort. I will post here to keep y'all up to date if anything changes.

Hi all, thanks for the well wishes. My grandpa is hanging on for now. They're telling us everything from it's touch and go to this might not be a life terminating event. No one knows. The hope is that he will be able to go home and be comfortable there whether for good or bad. Not many 93 year olds survive an aortic tear. But he's ok thus far, just very tired and a little disoriented. I'll be here probably into next week depending what happens. It's still day-to-day.
