Leaving...

Public

As most of you know, or don't know, I participate in a lot of pug raids. Recently Gadjit and I were invited to join a new guild with many of the same people we pug raids with. Both of us have decided to take them up on their offer to join their guild. I really have loved my time in Scarab and enjoyed getting to know all of you. This wasn't an easy choice for either of us to make since Scarab has been a very friendly and welcoming guild. But the simple fact that end game raiding has all but been shot in the head and died theres not much left for either of us here. Trying to find new pugs each week after reset takes up a lot of time, and sitting around waiting doing that gets very boring. It only makes sense for us to join a guild with a lot of the same people we raid with on a weekly basis already and have the same interests in end game content as we do.

As I said I have enjoyed getting to know all of you and playing WoW with you. Please feel free to keep both Gadjit/Riddlin and Equus/Hurq in your friends list and say hi from time to time. If you ever need a 9th or 10th raider as well, feel free to hit us up. Scarab has been my home for the past year in WoW, so I would hate to lose contact with you over a guild switch.

Maybe down the road someday we might find our way back to Scarab, and I hope we would still be welcome. But like I said with the end game content in the state that it is, joining a new guild that matches our same goals is what we need to do at this time.

Thank You for the good times and memories, and don't be afraid to moo at me if you see me in game Smiling

I'm sorry to see you and

I'm sorry to see you and Gadjit leave the guild. I don't blame you all for leaving and the raiding issue, I understand. I hope to see you all in game still and keep contact.

I wanted to add my comments

I wanted to add my comments as well here also and address everyone in the guild. Yes it is true me and Equus have the opportunity to join a guild with most of the people we do our weekly pugs with as of late. It wasn't a decision we came to lightly but we have made the choice that it is time to move on. I would say that raiding mainly is the reason we are choosing to move on, its just not moving forward at this point. Winter time is when usually 25 mans get run and people come back to play but now 10 mans are hard to field on some nights. Maybe theres a few people in guild who hopefully understood our frustration in this matter. Some people may agree with this view some may not but its what we chose to do.

The people in Scarab are great I cant say enough about them, Scarab has been my home in WoW since almost the first month the game was released. I remember running into Hunden and Tatamae in STV while on Vandal and thats how i got introduced to the people of Scarab (weather Hunden and Tat. remember that time I dont know but I know I wont forget).

All I can hope is people dont get angry at this move or upset cause were not looking to burn bridges here by any means.Maybe down the road and circumstances permit Scarab will have us back or we will cross paths in the next big MMO who knows. I know Equus stated in his post that if Scarab needs extra people to fill a raid or what not to make it happen shoot him a tell, that goes for me as well. I have no problem helping out. We both have tanks and DPS characters should anyone find themselves in need.

Take care everyone and best wishes.

Gadjit \ Riddlin

Not surprising, and very

Not surprising, and very understandable, but I won't say you guys won't be missed a LOT... not just for your contributions to our raid team but because of the fun we've always had in guild chat.

I hope we can continue to have fun in groups and raids, but the green spam won't be the same without you both!

*hugs*

P.S.

After talking to Rorin we will not be leaving 100%, Gadjit is leaving most of his alts with Scarab, and Rorin has convinced me to bring Equinax back to Scarab as well in order to still be a part of the game with you guys. So I guess this isn't good bye to Scarab completely, and that does make me happy that we can still be part of this great WoW family in a small way.

Long story short I am going

Long story short I am going to miss seeing you both round and about every day but I’m happy to hear you’re leaving (or getting them retagged) some alts. Do not be surprised if I poke you from time to time if we need an extra body and don’t think you’re getting off my friends list either.

I do understand the decision ya’ll have made and wish you both luck and hope to see you both in the green spam now and again Very happy

… side note… see how persuasive I can be!

... and yes you'd better summon my butt or I'll be lost for three days and we'll NEVER get this instance started

I seem to remember running

I seem to remember running from one side of STV to the other with you, Vandal. Both Tat and I were impressed by the quality you brought to the game that when we asked if you could join the guild, we were more than happy to see that you were both receptive and a very good match for SCARAB.

Don't give up on us entirely, though. We are still on the same server, and you never know where life will lead you. Just remember that once you have been a SCARAB, you will carry that with you, no matter where you go. Keep in touch, as we will try to keep you in touch.

Hunden, level 80 Human Warrior
I ain't no prissy altar boy paladin (no offense)

Kerestral, level 80 Dranei Paladin
All right, he is a paladin, but he ain't prissy either

Because everyone else already has one...
