Everquest 2 pdf manual

I found this on the EQ2 boards. Thought some would like to see it.

Quote:
It's not a player written manual, it's the Everquest II manual you're going to be getting with your game, or a copy very close to it complete with racial and class trees, how to play, instructions on the Heroic Opportunity Wheel, etc, etc. It's the book gang.

Here are screenshots of the infamous Heroic Wheel.

When a chain is started you will see the following symbol in the bottom right of the screen.
Heroic Opportunity Chain started
The hotkeys for the next part of the chain will start flashing.

If the right effect is hit in time, and not one that cancels it out, you will see the wheel and it will list the heroic opportunity effect that will happen if chain is complete.
Heroic Wheel

A blue line will start to go around the wheel. That is your timer. If you complete the chain you will see "You triggered 'opportunity effect'.
Triggered Oportunity

In this next screenshot you see the end of the effects from Sky Cleave. It starts off with lightning coming from the sky hitting the target, then the ground is tossed up around the target.
Heroic Effect

As long as you have actively done damage to more then one target, then the effect will hit all the targets that you have hit. Multiple Targets being hit

Other things to note from screenshots. At the upper right is the quest I have currently chosen to be displayed.

The bar above the hotkeys is your XP bar. The blueline represents one box on the top bar. If you hover you mouse over the xp bar it will tell you "you have 90% xp till next level."

The EQII button bottom left is your menu button.
This was taken after the patch that temporary broke my graphics.

Here is a screenshot of the Inventory Window.
As you can see, after tweaking the game engine, the night vision is not bad. FYI Ogres - This is the bridge needed for the History of the Ogres, Part One quest. Furtunately, it is right when you zone into Nek Forrest, so you can do this at low lvl.
