My first Scarabfest...I didn't realize I still had it in me to pull all-nighters, but apparently I can go without sleep for over 36 hours and still make wisecracks! Not to mention the battlescars I brought back with me from the water slide, in the form of a 6-inch purple bruise!

Pulling up to my first Scarabfest in Atlantic City, NJ and seeing these great folks in person for the first time. I stopped my car in the middle of the dirt road of what I was hoping was our camp site. A small crowd of people started to approach and I think I heard something about Scarab and I knew I found the right place . I introduced myself as Macedon and started to get to know everyone. It was weird and was apprehensive to go because I never met people that I've known online before but it was worth while.

Well there was the time that Brad (Dinadin/Horamir) puked all over Dolvin's steps froma Drunkin night at scarabfest. In his defense he did clean up after himself. I have a feeling though that I'm not the only one bringing that one up.

I created Scarabfest. I own Scarabfest. Seriously, though, Scarabfest was the brainchild of Jay and I in consultation with our wives in 2000. We have not missed a year yet, despite the impending birth of my second child... and we're still not missing this year. Memories of Scarabfest are too numerous to count, but among my favorites are the first casino night and golf with the Europeans last year. (Their first time on a golf course)
