| Break Bundt Cake (from Tonto's Wife April) | ozwyn | I tried this with italian sausage, no green chilies or salsa, and a full pound of bacon. It rocked. I also suspect for a more hearty/healthy touch you could add up to a half cup of oatmeal for texture. |
| Gnomeregan Gnog | monkeyninja | If you want to serve the eggnog in the traditional way, pour it into a punch bowl. In separate bowls, whip the 12 egg whites and 1 1/2 cups heavy cream to soft peaks and fold them into the eggnog. Serve in punch cups, garnished with freshly grated nutmeg. |
| Blackrabbit's taco casserole (from her blog) | ozwyn | I moved this from BR's blog so it will be in line with all the other guild recipies. |

| The best chicken soup ever! | blackrabbit | We lived on this stuff growing up. :) |
| Spaghetti Sauce | blackrabbit | Lots of variations to be had! If you want to add meat get a pound of ground whatever, sautee it in slightly less olive oil, then add the onions and garlic straight to it without draining. For meatballs, you can use your own recipe or I can post mine... but it's best if you don't cook them entirely in the oven. Cook them about 3/4 of the way and then add them to the sauce and let them finish cooking in there.

| Champaign Poached Pear salad (with strawberry vinaigrette and candied almonds) | biomechanoid | If you want to make your own candied almonds the process is very simple. begin by making a firm-candy mixure. This is done by dissolving 1 cup of sugar into 1 cup of corn syrup while it's heated to the firm ball stage of 244F (be very careful working with candy mixtures as it can bubble and pop. at these temperatures the candy can easily cause 2nd and 3rd degree burns).
remove candy from heat.
line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out shaved almonds evenly. add a thin and even layer of the firm-candy mixture to the almonds and then bake on 250F until the almonds become golden brown. remove from oven and let cool. |

| Lynchburg Lemonade + Jello shot version | Yiz | You should know that with all good drink I'll turn into a jello shot for my pool parties. 8) |
| JMD - Jäger/Jello-shot of Mass Destruction | Yiz | I was out downtown watching the Mavs game on Sunday night, and a bartender friend of mine gave me a Jäger Blaster. Tasted like (chicken?) nah, tasted like koolaid. I said this would make a great jello shot, and I will most likely make some for the pool party at my Apartment complex for this upcoming Sunday. Of course, I couldn't resist on trying to make it stronger, but still have the same sneaky taste. So I made one up with Bacardi 151, definately stronger but not the right taste. I then had one, but with ever clear. There we go we have a winner. I decided to call them JMD so it can be Jäger of Mass Destruction or Jello-shot of Mass Destruction. You can drink several of those and get F'd up before you realize it. |
