I have been debating this for a while now, but I have decided that it is time that I step down from my post as GM of our WoW chapter, as much as I hate that it is has come to that. It is solely for reason of not enough time. I am working full time again and going to school full time, that does not leave much time for WoW I am afraid. I have not been as active for a good while now, as I feel the post deserves, and it is not fair to our membership that plays. I would like to see us get an active GM again and get things back on track before we start losing folks to other guilds. I will still be around in game from time to time, but it will not be very often, and our folks deserve an active GM.

As most of you know, or don't know, I participate in a lot of pug raids. Recently Gadjit and I were invited to join a new guild with many of the same people we pug raids with. Both of us have decided to take them up on their offer to join their guild. I really have loved my time in Scarab and enjoyed getting to know all of you. This wasn't an easy choice for either of us to make since Scarab has been a very friendly and welcoming guild. But the simple fact that end game raiding has all but been shot in the head and died theres not much left for either of us here. Trying to find new pugs each week after reset takes up a lot of time, and sitting around waiting doing that gets very boring. It only makes sense for us to join a guild with a lot of the same people we raid with on a weekly basis already and have the same interests in end game content as we do.

So I was turning one of my PC on the other day and it wouldn't turn on and then I smell burning. This is the 2nd Antec I had problems with. I need to get a decent PSU, anyone got a brand recommendation?

Anyone watched Caprica on SyFy? What do you guys think?

as many of you know I play dungeons and dragons online and would like to see if we could get a heavier scarab presence there than we already have (Mychelle, Andreak, and myself) are the only players i know who are in both games, and since it isnt really all about the egc and just having a good time running dungeons, i would like more of our fellows aboard.

Ok, I work for a payroll company and hate my job. It is boring and does not take very much thought on my part. But it is a job in this economy and I like food/shelter.

Anyway, so my thought is, "Hey, why not apply for a promotion and make more money with a job I hate?" So when a position for a supervisor opening up in OKC...I applied (after my boss asked me to).

Tuesday I had a phone interview with an HR recruiter...and well it was an epic fail. My fault, I wasn't "articulate" enough. No big deal. I will just keep hating and doing my job till another opportunity comes up.

But today I had to sit down with my manager and well, it was very hard for me not to laugh because he was being perfectly serious and it was obvious he had taken time to prepare his speech.

yeah just as the name states this is one of the dorkiest movies out there, and yet it brings me back to the days of good old fashioned character killing, from critical rolls and the bard (who has no knife) stabbing him self, to a geek playing a gorgeous sorceress that keeps forgetting that she is female, the "roleplaying" is all done larpg style so that you get to see the comedy of the life of these characters.
i would have to rate this movie among those that i am willing to watch again, (the list is maybe 20 movies long)

I passed my Combat Trauma Management course the other day, under the scrutiny of an instructor who hadn't passed a student in his last 3 classes. myself and one other in my lane of 8 people passed under him, so we're very proud to be able to meet his higher than normal standards in trauma medicine. Now that I'm finished with CTM, I get to start my hospital rotation next friday, where I'm headed back to my hometown of Tampa, Florida with 12 of my fellow students to practice trauma medicine in both the hospital and pre-hospital setting for a month.

The bad:

I still have about 8 more months before I finally finish this several year long qualification course and get my green beret as a special forces medical sergeant.

Heya folks,

Just wanted to get everyone up to speed. Rabbit's 93 year old grandfather was admitted to the hospital up in New York, suffering from an aortic dissection. He is extremely lucky, since most patients die of this before they even make it to the hospital. He is very much a fighter and he is still hanging in there. Keep him, Rabbit and the rest of our family in your thoughts and prayers, please.

Rabbit flew out this morning and is with her family in New York. I am still here in Texas holding down the fort. I will post here to keep y'all up to date if anything changes.
