Wanted a place to forecast what changes I will have for the xpac
Submitted by Moirannia on Wed, 2008-10-15 04:57. GamesI was playing around with the talent builder for WotLK and came up with this idea for a new build. It looks pretty decent overall and I like the end result that it will offer. I am willing to listen to some suggestions though to find a really good overall balance.
Here it is then: Feral Build Try 1
Hope everyone is getting ready for this and will see you in game again soon.
Moon Guard RP characters
Submitted by blackrabbit on Sat, 2008-01-26 13:26. GamesFor those of you playing on Moon Guard, and for anyone who feels like reading, here's a short story that outlines my character Zosh's history. I do not expect this server to become my 'main' server but I have to say I am enjoying the RP, and the chance for new ideas and new materials to write about. As always, if you enjoy my writing style and would like me to work on something for one of your characters, please contact me via PM or in game and we'll work something out!
Anyhow, here it is:
Zosh's Story
Coming of age. That's the term they use for the time during which children grow and change the most, take the biggest, last, and final steps on their way to adulthood. It is supposed to happen gradually, neatly. In some cases, with dignity and beauty. Mine was none of those things. Nor was Xua's.
A Paladin's Story
Submitted by Randolf on Wed, 2007-12-19 17:25. GamesOnce upon a time in the land of Norrath.
Ekoloath drew in a long deep breath and exhaled. The sent of the felwoods surrounding him brought back memories of his boyhood in the forests of the Faydark. Times had changed little in these areas apart from the increased orcish activities in the north his home was practically untouched by the recent turmoil. He took one last look at the shinning city gates of Felwithe and set out on foot on what would be his last adventure. His aim was the same as it had been time and time before. To lay waste to the red skinned goblins of the Lavastorm mountains dwelling within Solosek's eye, bring back as many high quality weapons as he could carry, smelt them down into bars, and forge them into his ussual smithing wears to sell in the bazaar. Fate, however, had set her will against him this hallowed eve. The stars had foretold of a disturbance coming rapidly to the land. The gods were preparing to do battle. Ekoloath set out unaware of the impending doom.
DDO
Submitted by monkeyninja on Mon, 2007-12-17 14:39. GamesI've started playing D&D Online recently. I'm sure the fact that I get to play for free has nothing to do with it. What server does everyone play on so I can catch up with my fellow geek peeps?
Working on a new Exploration Video for WoW
Submitted by Aurela on Fri, 2007-03-30 12:31. GamesSo, with the terrain change in southern Winterspring blocking Hyjal, I've decided to create a new video revisiting Hyjal, and including some new areas, too. The areas in the new video should include, but not in order:
-The new path to Mount Hyjal
-The Top of Iron Forge
-Path behind Zul Gurub instance portal
-The so called, "Old" Menethil
-And another jump from Hyjal, using an epic mount for greater distance
The new video will also have a well increased video resolution from the previous version. So far, only the Hyjal portions have been filmed, and edited as of 3/30. I'd say it should be avalable sometime next month, if all goes well.
Forest of Doors: Photos and Clips
Submitted by Tiassa on Mon, 2006-07-31 16:47. GamesThis time around I got a couple short clips of the tournament, so there are actually a few movies posted-- for those in office environments, there is sound, just so you know.
Forest of Doors: July 29, 2006 Event
The LARP is still learning a lot, and still growing. I had a good time, despite the heat... man it felt good to get back to archery and be a baddass at something again. ![]()
King's Gate 4-Day
Submitted by Tiassa on Mon, 2006-07-03 19:45. GamesSince I've already created the BB Code for one board, I figure: why not share the wealth? Below are a bunch of photos that I took at the KG 4-Day event out at A.H.S. I even managed to get a short 50-second clip of a field battle that the PCs lost... the clip is the tail-end of the fight, and oh how squalid things look with bodies litering the field.
While it was bloody hot (GA in July), I still had an amazing time and will continue to do it all over again.
(Side note: In the clip you can actually see Mikasha kicking the PC's collective butts with his mighty archery-fu)
Forest of Doors: Post 2
Submitted by Tiassa on Wed, 2006-06-14 17:17. GamesAs promised, here are more photos from the Forest of Doors LARP.
Someone was giving my friend Jay a hard time about looking all "gay and gothy..." to which his response was: "Uh, have you seen the chicks? Chicks in corsets... dude, I win!"
Drupal Raid Module
Submitted by Bocaj on Tue, 2006-06-06 12:22. GamesHey all,
I started work a while back on a raid management module for drupal. The idea started with needing to track loot, but I found that other needs had to be addressed before that. This is an overview of what I have planned and some details with the first stage (officially only a vision document). Anyone is welcome to send comments, suggestions or code. I've got a test server set up and I'll post links as soon as I think it's ready for beta testing. Read on for the details.
Vanguard Beta Codes in Computer Games Magazine
Submitted by LaHa on Fri, 2006-05-26 10:05. GamesMay 25th 2006 – Beta Codes in Computer Games Magazine
Vanguard was recently featured on the cover of Computer Games Magazine and in that issue we included codes that will allow for closed beta access to the game. We add new beta testers in regular batches however we have not yet added any CGM codes. Because of the publisher change for Vanguard, we are discussing where the beta will now be hosted before we add any new people into the process. Just as soon as we have a solid date for a beta hosting change, we will announce it here. A reminder, however: the CGM codes will not all be activated at once. We will add people in batches and you must register the code you received in your magazine. Please follow the instructions here to register your code with us and we look forward to seeing you all in game just as soon as we can!
