I finally managed to get back into my original Email addy for WoW and I've come to find out that back in february someone tried to use a whole bunch of bogus credit cards to get into my account, and as such Blizzard has charged me 16 bucks for each attempt that I'll have to pay before I can play. I find this majorly annoying, and I'm not sure that they're going to be so willing to clear it all up from the replies. Fingers crossed =/

Girls of Warcraft

It's just a little mini project I thought would be interesting. It's been fun to write so far.

Lately (for the last 4-5 months or so) my PC has had an interesting issue where every 20-30 minutes, sometimes more often, it disconnects me from WoW, boots me to the login screen, and makes me go back in. I don't lose my internet connection, and I don't get knocked off vent or any other application that happens to be active. It doesn't get any better or worse by rebooting. Andy recently cleaned out my pc, dusted out the case, downloaded updated drivers for everything, and did one or two other maintenance things that I'll get him to post about.

But has anyone ever encountered a problem like this, and have any clue what it is and how to fix it? It's very annoying and it gets really difficult to play when I'm constantly being bounced off the server.

Ever had to post on the official customer support forums when a character got stuck, you couldn't log in, etc.?

Ever posted on your class forums to offer / ask for advice?

Ever posted on your realm forum to set up an event, look for an item, or discuss something?

Coming Soon, thanks to RealID, any such posts you make will have your real name on them instead of your character name. There is no opt-out. The only thing you will be able to configure is if your character name is also shown.

Hiya everyone. Two nights ago I canceled my WOW subscription, this might just be untill Cataclysm or might be longer...kind of up in the air. I was just really finding myself not enjoying WoW and dreading logging on & raiding..and that's not a fun away to spend most of your time. Also Row and I want to spend more quality time together and raiding was getting in the way. So she also will not be raiding a night anymore, she'll still play wow during the day if the mood strikes her. I know it might some as a shock to some of you because we were pretty hard-core...but it's the right decision for us. And I might buy the game cards once in a while and pop on wow to say hi...just have to see.

This is more of a question then a statement, what are SCARAB's plans for Catatclysm, and will we start playing the Horde RP realm again..... maybe as a goblin it will be more fun when you get there cool little go-Karts. I hope that we can get to 85 quick and start getting some end game exposure!!!!! woot Hail SCARAB

Im pulling Nagoul out of SCARAB until Cataclysm. Friends and what not have been asking for me to go raid with them, Nago, Alfeus and everyone else are still proud and true SCARABs tho, and Nagoul will be again.

I need to have a set of Leggings of Woven Death made in the next week or so.

Do any guild tailors already have the recipe already?

If not, do we have a guild tailor that is revered with Ashen Verdict? In which case I can look to fund the extra primordial saronite so you can buy the recipe.

I'm thinking about leveling my character on that realm to 19 for the next event whenever that is. It was really fun, would love to have others join in if they wanted. There are of course the idiots that starve for attention, but overall I'd compare it to fun like the gnekid gnome race we had a while back.

So as I'm sitting online playing WoW, I get a tell from a toon who's name is a jumble of letters (1st clue). They formatted the tell so it looks a bit official--

"whatever his name was" tells you:
[GM]World of warcraft: This account has been suspended, see "website link" for details"

Now the website name has "wow" in it, but the site itself is not blizzard.com or worldorwarcraft.com (2nd clue).

(3rd clue) Logging in to the real blizzard account website shows my account in good working order.

I suspect the weblink provided in the tell is not one that will contribute to your overall computer health, and don't suggest following it. Whether they try to do something directly from the website or just ask for you to "log in to your account", i don't know.

The thing that strikes you the most about Stormwind is the business of the streets. Every where you look you can see business taking place. Every time you come here you think "Gee I should have ported to Iron Forge. Stormwind is so busy this time of year." But then you remind yourself that there is no collision detection so traffic does not matter.

From the bank steps you look past the fountain and see a vanguard approaching. Two hundred of the human kingdom’s finest NPC's are lead by a single herald. A strikingly handsome Night Elf. You look above his head and read his name. Tresin the Awesome Beetle. "How did he get this awesome title." you mumble to your self. Just from looking at him you can tell he is really smart, funny, and really cool to hang out with. You sit down and pay complete attention to him and really take this whole speech thing seriously.

(I have a smattering of characters scattered through the levels and can probably arm-twist Neece into helping on one of her many alts. Three people constitute a group!)

So, we're going to play at redesigning our tabard again, for s and g's. This time we're not holding an actual tabard auction. Participation is strictly voluntary, and anyone in WoW can play! Those of you not currently playing Wow, too darn bad.

If you want to design our February tabard, simply go here and make one. Then take a screenshot and send me the file, or upload it to your own image hosting site and send me a link. Curse used to have a site where you could have other people view your tabard design without jumping through hoops, but that is no longer an option, sadly. However, this way works just as well. I tested it this morning. Granted, I am using mozilla and photobucket and those are really the only two systems I am familiar with.
